We are open for 38 weeks a year

Micklands Pre-School receives funding for a maximum of 38 weeks a year within Reading Borough Council’s term dates.  Although we are an independent setting, we try to follow as far as possible the terms dates set by Micklands Primary School.

However, our terms dates do not always exactly coincide so sometimes our terms may start a little later or end sooner than the primary school’s. 

Additionally, the Pre-School may occasionally be open on a day when the primary school is closed, for example on one of their inset days.
